By accessing or using bunchfood ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

2. Use of the Platform

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service.

3. Shop Owners

Shop owners are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and safety of the products they list. All food items must comply with applicable local health and food safety regulations. bunchfood reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these terms or our community guidelines without prior notice.

4. Orders and Payments

Card payments are processed securely through Stripe. Where available, customers may also choose bank transfer or cash on delivery or pickup; those orders remain subject to shop confirmation and payment reconciliation. By placing an order, you agree to pay the listed price including any applicable fees. bunchfood acts as an intermediary and is not liable for disputes between customers and shop owners.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis. If you receive an item that is significantly different from its description or is unfit for consumption, contact our support team within 24 hours of collection or delivery. bunchfood reserves the right to issue or deny refunds at its sole discretion.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of bunchfood or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

bunchfood is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, bunchfood shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.

9. Information Sharing & Data Disclosure

We are committed to transparency about how your information is shared. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party processors that help us operate the Platform — including Stripe (payment processing), Paystack (payment processing in supported regions), and Mailtrap (transactional email). These providers are contractually bound to handle your data only as instructed by us.
• Shop Owners: When you place an order, your name, delivery address, and order details are shared with the relevant shop owner solely to fulfil your order.
• Dispatchers: If you opt in to delivery, your name and delivery address are shared with the assigned dispatcher to complete the delivery.
• Analytics & Performance: We may use aggregated, anonymised usage data to improve our service. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics reports.
• Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of bunchfood, our users, or the public.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred. We will notify you before your personal data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

bunchfood uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform, remember your preferences, and (with your consent) analyse usage patterns. When you first visit the Platform, you will be asked to accept or decline non-essential cookies.

• Strictly Necessary: Required for the Platform to function (authentication tokens, session management, shopping cart). These cannot be disabled.
• Functional: Remember your preferences such as language, currency, and search filters. Enabled only with your consent.
• Analytics: Help us understand how visitors use the Platform so we can improve it. Enabled only with your consent.
